Beauty salons

There are four beauty and nail salons in the centre of Torre del Mar, covering manicure and pedicure, gel and acrylic nails, waxing, facials and body treatments.

Book ahead, especially in season

These are small salons working by appointment, and in July and August the diary fills with a seasonal population on top of the regular clients. A nail appointment on the same day is unlikely in summer and routine the rest of the year.

Beauty treatment and medical treatment are not the same thing

Worth being clear about, because the vocabulary blurs. Injectables, laser and anything described as a medical or medical aesthetic procedure must be performed by qualified medical staff in an authorised centre, not in a beauty salon. If a treatment is offered to you under a medical sounding name, ask who performs it and where.
