Podiatry

There are four podiatry clinics in Torre del Mar, in the centre of the town. They cover routine foot care, gait analysis, custom insoles and treatment of nails, calluses and injuries.

The thing to know before looking for it in the health centre: routine podiatry is not generally covered by the Andalusian public health service. People pay for it directly, and prices are set by each clinic. Diabetic foot care is the usual exception, because it is followed as part of the diabetes care itself, so ask your health centre about that specific case.

All four hold a perfect score

Every rated clinic in town sits at 5.0, so the rating cannot separate them. What can is the number of opinions behind it, which ranges from a handful to a couple of dozen, and whether the clinic does the specific thing you need. Gait analysis with custom insoles is a different appointment, and a different price, from a routine treatment.

Practical

Bring the shoes you actually wear, not your best pair. If insoles are involved, they are made to your footwear as much as to your foot.
