Why the scores are what they are

Part of it is genuine and part is structural. An administrator carries out decisions taken by a majority vote of the neighbours, and the neighbours who lost that vote are the ones who write the review. The job is also invisible when it goes well and very visible when a lift breaks. Neither excuse explains a 2.2, but both explain why almost nobody in this trade sits above 4.5.
