Torre del Mar documents sixteen nightlife venues: bars, cocktail places, karaokes and a handful of clubs. It is not a big city night, but it is the most complete in the Axarquía.

Decide drink or dancing first

They are two different circuits and they are not on the same street. The bars are spread between the centre and the promenade, and the clubs are few and specific. The two venues with the largest crowds, each with more than 1,400 reviews, are both in the promenade area.

Why every club here scores below 4.0

This is worth explaining rather than leaving as a mystery. People rate a club at five in the morning, after a queue and after paying for drinks. They rate a small bar the next day with a good memory of it. It is a bias of the format, not a judgement on the venues, and it happens everywhere. Comparing clubs with each other makes sense. Comparing a club with a neighbourhood bar does not.

In summer the map changes

In season a good part of the atmosphere moves to the chiringuitos on the beach, which carry on with music well into the night.
