Cinema

Said plainly, because people look for it: there is no cinema inside Torre del Mar. The screen serving the whole area is at the shopping centre on Avenida del Rey Juan Carlos I, already in Vélez-Málaga municipality, about three kilometres from the centre along Avenida de Andalucía. It is the reference cinema for the whole region.

Practical

• Allow for the trip. Walking it takes around forty minutes, so most people go by car or on the local bus. The shopping centre has its own parking.
• Check the listings on the day. Screenings change weekly and in summer they shift towards the evening.
• Films are usually dubbed into Spanish. Original-version screenings are not the norm in this area, which is worth knowing before making the trip.
