Language schools

For a town this size the private teaching sector is unusually strong: seven academies covering English, school tutoring and exam preparation, and three of them hold a perfect public rating, which is rare in any trade.

What they are used for

Two very different audiences. Spanish families looking for English and school support, and foreign residents looking for Spanish. Not every academy does both, so ask directly.

Ask for a trial lesson

In teaching, the fit with the person in front of the class decides more than any review. Every academy here will arrange one, and it tells you more than a rating ever will.

For official language certification, the state language schools are outside the town, so if you need an accredited certificate rather than lessons, check that before enrolling.
