Padel
Padel is the sport of the moment on this coast, and it is worth being precise about what Torre del Mar actually has. Inside the town there is one club, on Calle los Fenicios, which holds a perfect rating. Alongside it there are municipal courts by the promenade, which are a different thing.
Club and public court are not comparable
One offers service, equipment and coaching, the other is an open-air public facility. The difference in their ratings reflects exactly that, and comparing them as if they were the same thing would be misleading.
Practical
Book ahead in season: with a single club in town, the good evening slots go days in advance. If you are after competition or more courts, the serious offer in the area is in Vélez-Málaga.
