Two obligations if you live here with an animal
- The microchip is compulsory for dogs, and it must be registered in the Andalusian animal identification register with your current details. Moving house and not updating it is the most common reason a found dog is not returned.
- Rabies vaccination is compulsory in Andalusia and is renewed on a schedule your vet will set. Kennels, travel and many insurance policies all check it.
