Worth saying at the top. In therapy the fit between two people is most of the outcome, and no aggregate of public reviews reaches it. Check the professional title

To practise therapy in Spain the regulated qualification is psicólogo general sanitario, or a clinical psychology specialism, and every practitioner is registered with their regional professional body with a membership number. Asking for it is normal.

• Public mental health care goes through your GP at the health centre, with long waits for anything not urgent. Everything here is private.
