Twelve medical centres and specialist practices in Torre del Mar carry a public rating, from eye surgery to hearing aids. The table needs a line of context before the numbers make sense.
Where the public health centre fits
Primary care in Torre del Mar is provided by the public health centre, which is where residents go and where a European Health Insurance Card is used. It is in the table, seventh with a 3.0 from 190 reviews, and its reviews are mostly about the emergency waits and getting an appointment by phone, not about its doctors. The table is led by Auditec, a hearing aid centre that also works in English and, according to its reviews, in German, with a 4.9 from 121, ahead of the aesthetic medicine clinic Madysthetic. Rincón Salud 101, a private clinic with dentists, physiotherapy and podiatry, is third with a 4.5 from 116. Figures as of 24 September 2026.
Volume and rating disagree
The centre with by far the most reviews in this trade, more than six hundred, is not the best rated, and the best rated has a handful of opinions. That gap is typical of medical services: people write after a bad experience far more readily than after a routine one, and the busiest centre collects the most of both.
Practical, if you are a visitor
- There is no hospital in Torre del Mar. The reference hospital for the area is in Vélez-Málaga.
- Carry your insurance details. Private centres bill directly, and many work with international insurers if you tell them beforehand.
