# Details Car Torre del Mar

**Details Car**, also known as Torre Car, sells **used vehicles** from the **Levante promenade**, which is an unusual address for this trade in a town where the rest of it sits on the entrance roads. It holds a 4.1 over 39 reviews.

## Owning a car here when you are only here half the year

The obligations do not pause while you are away. Insurance runs, the road tax falls due once a year, and the roadworthiness inspection expires on its date whether you are in the country or not. Coming back in June to a car that has been uninsured since March is a bad discovery, and driving it that way is worse.

If you keep a car here for the months you visit, set the renewals to pay automatically from a Spanish account and diarise the inspection date in your own calendar rather than trusting a letter to reach you abroad. And if the car sits still for months, the battery and the tyres are what fail first, so arrange for somebody to move it.
