# Piscinas Hydramed

**Piscinas Hydramed** builds and maintains pools from **Avenida de Andalucía** and is the longest running business of its trade in this district. Its **370 reviews at a 4.9** are the largest backing of the sector and one of the strongest figures anywhere in this directory.

Pools are a trade of repeat customers, which is why a number like that can build up. Maintenance is monthly, and a company you dislike is replaced within a season.

## The choice to make before you build or buy

Salt or chlorine. Salt chlorination is gentler on skin and eyes and cheaper to run month to month, and it costs more to install and is harder on metal fittings over the years. Chlorine is the opposite trade. Ask for both costed over five years rather than for the installation price alone, because the running cost is where a private pool on this coast actually gets expensive, along with the water in a dry summer.
