The **public health centre** is in Calle Eduardo Iglesias. It is the entry point to the Andalusian health system and where you see a family doctor.

By phone through **Salud Responde on 955 545 060**, or through the **ClicSalud+** app or website. You do not need to queue at the desk for this. For a life-threatening emergency, the number is **061**, and the general emergency number is **112**.

## There is no hospital here

Worth knowing before you need it. Anything beyond primary care goes to the **Hospital Comarcal de la Axarquía** in Vélez-Málaga, a few minutes away by car.
