# Laundries

Torre del Mar has **four laundries and dry cleaners**, in the centre and on Avenida de Andalucía, covering washing, ironing, dry cleaning and self service.

## Two different trades under one heading

A _lavandería_ washes, dries and irons by weight or by load. A _tintorería_ is a dry cleaner and handles what water would ruin: suits, coats, wedding dresses, curtains. The same shop often does both, but the price and the turnaround are not the same, so say which one you need.

## The self service one solves the holiday problem

There is a coin operated self service laundry in town, open long hours, which is the practical answer for a two week stay in a flat without a washing machine, or for a family of beach towels that will not wait.

## Holiday lets are a big part of this trade here

With the number of tourist apartments in Torre del Mar, bed linen turnover is steady work. If you manage a flat, ask about a collection and delivery arrangement rather than counting on walk in service in August, which is exactly when these places are at capacity.

## The businesses in this trade

Ranked by the score this site gives every business in town: public Google ratings, how many people are behind them, and how the business is doing online. Names that link have a full page in English.
