The town club is **Unión Deportiva Torre del Mar**, founded in **1971**, one of the historic clubs of the Axarquía. It plays in **Tercera Federación** and its home ground is the **Juan Manuel Azuaga** stadium, next to the shopping centre on the road towards Vélez-Málaga.
