# Best laundries

Four laundries and dry cleaners in Torre del Mar carry a public rating, with close to **200 reviews** between them.

## Two different trades in one table

A _lavandería_ washes, dries and irons, by weight or by load. A _tintorería_ is a dry cleaner and handles what water would ruin: suits, coats, wedding dresses, curtains. The same business often does both, but the price and the turnaround are different, so say which one you need when you walk in.

## The self service one solves the holiday problem

The coin operated self service laundry in town, second in this table with the most reviews of the trade, is the practical answer to a fortnight in a flat without a washing machine, or to a family of beach towels that will not wait. It keeps long hours, which is most of its appeal.

## Holiday lets carry a lot of this trade

With the number of tourist apartments in Torre del Mar, bed linen turnover is steady work. If you manage a flat, ask about a collection and delivery arrangement rather than counting on walk in service in August, which is exactly when these places are at capacity.

Score out of 100 calculated by this portal from public data: average Google rating adjusted for how many people back it (20), number of reviews on a logarithmic scale (12), the business's own website, whether it loads, is clear and publishes its details (62), and a published telephone number (6). The website and the phone only count when that check has been made across the whole trade, so that the comparison is between equals; otherwise the score comes from rating and reviews alone. Each listing carries the date its data was verified.
