## Rating against volume

Pastelería Santa Ana leads with a 4.8 from 272 reviews, eleven points clear. Don Pedro is second on volume, 1,075 reviews with a 4.5, and Las Niñas is just behind with a 4.7 from 138 and not a single one star review. Figures as of 19 September 2026.

## Coffee here has its own vocabulary

Asking for "a coffee" will get you a question back. In this part of Andalusia you order by the proportion of milk: _solo_ is espresso, _cortado_ a dash of milk, _café con leche_ half and half, _manchado_ mostly milk. In summer, _café con hielo_ arrives as a hot espresso and a separate glass of ice, which you pour it over yourself.

## Breakfast is bread, not pastry

The standard breakfast here is a toasted _mollete_ or half a roll with olive oil, crushed tomato and often ham, taken at the bar between eight and eleven, and it is cheap. The pastries exist but they are not what the town eats on a working morning.
